The Neighborhood Association Subscription Drive

The Nob Hill Neighborhood Association (NHNA) has an email list. The NHNA board of directors use the list to post announcements of meetings and events, and to keep the neighborhood informed of issues relating to the community. However, anyone subscribed to the list can post a topic for discussion. There is a web page where anyone can see the archive of posts. Unfortunately, the performance of the email list has been inconsistent, with messages not posted, messages not forwarded to subscribers, failures to accept new subscribers, and subscribers dropped from the list. We think we have addressed these issues, and would like to repopulate and reinvigorate the list. To this end we announce the NHNA Subscription Drive. You refer as many people as you can to subscribe to the email list. Each subscriber must sign up through our web site. Each subscriber must send an email to vgweirs@gmail.com, listing the person that referred them. Without this email, you will not get credit for the referral. The person with the most referrals will be awarded a $75 gift certificate to Scalo. The subscription drive is open until midnight on Thursday, September 24th. Are you subscribed already? If you have been getting email from the list over the summer, you are already subscribed. In addition, a reminder that you are subscribed is sent to all members of the list at the beginning of each month. If you are not subscribed but would like to be, try to sign up on the Neighbors Email List. You will get an email, to which you must reply, to confirm your subscription. There is no cost to subscribe to the email list.
