Crime Prevention and Safety

Crime Prevention and Safety Meetings currently suspended

Issue-specific meetings will be held periodically. Look for an announcement on the NHNA main page.

Useful Pointers

Be sure to report all crimes and even suspicious activity. That is the best way for the police to get a handle on the patterns of problems in our area. They will then be able to respond to specific situations in a timely way.

  • Call 911 for immediate response and emergencies.
  • Call 242-COPS (242-2677) for non-emergency reports.
  • Call 311 if you need other information such as how to setup a Neighborhood Watch.

To see the call statistics for the Nob Hill Neighborhood Association area, go to the Crime Statistics page of our web site here. You should see Crime Statistics in the left-hand column.

Here is a link to CrimeMapping.com. This link will show reported crimes within one mile of Central/Carlisle for the last week, but you can adjust it as you like and have email alerts sent to you. APD uploads their crime data to this site every day.
