Public Safety Committee
Our association’s Public Safety Committee constantly addresses problems and opportunities facing our community.
We welcome ideas and participation from all members of the community whether they are part of our leadership, our members, or non-members.
If you have an interest or expertise in public safety and want to help email committee chair Lucille Torres Long.

Report all Crimes!
Be sure to report all crimes and even suspicious activity. That is the best way for APD to get a handle on the patterns of problems in our area. They will then be able to respond to specific situations in a timely way.
- Call 911 for immediate response and emergencies.
- Call 242-COPS (242-2677) for non-emergency reports.
- Contact APD Crime Prevention Specialist Laura Keuhn to learn how to set up a Neighborhood Watch for your block.
Here is a link to CrimeMapping.com. This link will show reported crimes within one mile of Central/Carlisle for the last week, but you can adjust it as you like and have email alerts sent to you. APD uploads their crime data to this site every day.
