DESCRIPTION:A landscape contractor recently built a wall in the front yard and street side yard at the above address. Two or more property owners called 311 asking if it was permitted. It was not. Planning indicates that it requires a Permit-Wall-Major. This involves a public hearing before the Zoning Hearing Examiner. In these requests neighborhood associations are invited to express a position.\nThe contractor has reached out to start that process. We requested a facilitated meeting where a facilitator helps the parties identify issues and concerns. We have used this a couple times recently and it was helpful to all.\nThis meeting will take place virtually on Monday\, Nov. 29 at 5:30 pm. If you wish to weigh in PLEASE participate in the meeting.\nOur association will not develop a position at that meeting. That will happen at a regular or special board meeting after the contractor makes application to Planning.
