We urge decision makers to devote the space to uses that support the cultural life of the neighboring community. We note that the building is a major work by John Gaw Meem and would be a proper place to educate people about his life and work\, along the lines of the Georgia O’Keefe Museum. We note a dearth of performance space in the area and the fact that the sanctuary seats 500 and is known for its terrific acoustics. We note that arts and culture groups need spaces for their work. We urge you to take advantage of this once-in-a generation opportunity to enhance the cultural life of our area and region.  \n  \nCONSENT AGENDA: DIRECTORS\, PLEASE REVIEW THESE DOC’S AHEAD OF TIME \n– Minutes of last board meeting \n– Treasurer’s report of 2026-7 \n– Validation of Basecamp votes: none \n  \nUPDATES FROM PARTNERS -Nob Hill Main Street\, Chris Smith \n-District 6 Coalition\, Holly Hitzemann \n  \nFOCUS TEAM REPORTS: All community members are welcome on all teams.
