Girard Blvd Master Plan

There is a public meeting on the City of Albuquerque’s Girard Boulevard Complete Streets Master Plan on Thursday, August 23rd.

From Andrew Webb, Policy Analyst in the Planning Department:

The purpose of this project is to develop a comprehensive plan to improve the Girard Boulevard corridor for drivers, pedestrians, cyclists and other users. The final product will address pedestrian and bicycle mobility and safety, intersection improvements, traffic congestion and the overall “livability” of this collector street.

All interested parties are encouraged to provide input on draft concepts for these improvements at this public meeting, which will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the First Congregational Church, 2801 Lomas Blvd. It will begin at 6 p.m. with an open house, followed by a formal presentation about the project at 7.

The purpose of the meeting is to get feedback from the public, so please attend to ensure our neighborhood is well represented.
